From the archive of “Ridiculous Super-Cuts” comes something you probably weren’t waiting for but definitely needed: a mash-up of every gear shift in all five “Fast and the Furious” movies.
Yes, some bored/brilliant fan has boiled down the longtime driving series to the nitty gritty. You know how it goes: there’s a chase scene, the other guy’s gaining speed, shift, shift, someone lets out a “yeehaw” or a “woohoo,” and they drive off into the sunset. (That’s basically what happens in every “Fast” movie, right?)
The clip is just a little taste to tide you over before “Fast and the Furious 6″ — which reunites Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Dwayne Johnson as consumate engine-revvers — begins shooting. (Justin Lin is also set to return as director and “The Immortals’” Luke Evans is poised to play the villain.)
You can take a look at the mash-up above (because, you probably have nothing better to do than watch Vin Diesel shift gears).
